Gruff 0.0.7 7 comments

posted Sunday, December 4, 2005 by topfunky

I’m trying to think of something clever to say about how glad I am that Pierce Brosnan has quit the role and hopefully Daniel Craig will make less of a mockery of it.

At any rate, new Gruff!

Thanks to Mike Perham, Andreas Schewarz and Jarkko Laine for patches and new features.

  • Nil points in a line graph won’t be drawn, but the graph continues on. (sample)
  • You can set a value for ‘baseline’ and a dotted line will be drawn on the graph.
  • Stacked bar graphs.

At RubyForge or download with

sudo gem install gruff

NOTE: Some people are getting the dreaded “300 Multiple Choices” error. Either try again or manually download the gem from RubyForge and do

sudo gem install Path/To/Download/gruff-0.0.7.gem

  • Very nice update. The nil’s are a nice addition.

Howcome no-one has this as a web app?

I would like an application that will produce these beautiful graphs. (niche in web app market ?)

Fantastic work! These are sexy, please make it happen. :)

Extremely nice! I think it adds allot to ruby on rails. Keep up the good work!

  • Just wanted to post my graph in case someone wants more examples.

Plus the source for the code to generate that graph is also there.
