RailsConf Presentation 12 comments

posted Wednesday, June 21, 2006 by topfunky

Since Amy and I are scheduled to present at the exact same time during RailsConf (schedule), and since she already threw down the gauntlet, I’m forced to also give a sneak peek of my presentation.

All I can say is that one of my slides features a nipple.

That was not a sneak peek at her RailsConf presentation. It was a sneak peek at her Rails Day contest entry. :-)

  • I wonder if the nipple is why the guy in the top left looks so happy. Wish I could be there this year.

  • Damn, there are a few collisions in the schedule that I don’t really understand, mostly that Stefan Kaes and Steven Smith are talking simultaneously about two topics that would absolutely belong to the same track.

    lol, n00b, owned

    ;)

    Presentation looks interesting, though! :D

  • its still a toss up between yours and Amy’s presentation. I think you are going to have to give us another hint!

    Bryan:

Again, nobody has seen Amy’s presentation yet. Her post showed her project for RailsDAY, not her presentation for RailsCONF.

Maybe the people who organize these events need to come up with more distinct names? :)

You have a book coming out?

My bad…she was talking about RailsDAY.

At any rate, all the sessions from RailsCONF will be recorded, and I’m looking forward to seeing Amy’s presentation as well (delayed, on video).

  • I’m looking forward to RailsConf myself; meeting everyone and seeing your presentation and many others is going to be fun. I might sign up for a presentation slot on Sunday.

So here I sit in the Tampa Airport, waiting for my flight to Chicago. Hooray for free Wifi!

  • topfunky: They are being recorded? Are the recordings going to be available to the public or just shown on location at railsconf?

  • jp

Recording is news to me too…anyone know where they are (will be) posted?

    Thanks!

  • Boris K

Recordings will be available in form of DVD for $50.
